Close & Undo Close Tab (for Camino 1.6x) 1.1

The download includes two scripts: 1. 'Remember URL & Close Tab' will store the URL of the current tab and close it; 2. 'Undo Close Tab' will re-open the last stored URL in a new tab. URLs from the last 10 closed tabs are stored (in a text file in the Preferences folder) for undoing in reverse order. Please note that script #2 only works on tabs that were closed by running script #1; tabs closed by clicking the on-tab widget or by choosing Close from the File menu are not remembered or restored. The script files have custom icons that look appropriate as buttons when the scripts are placed on Camino's toolbar (see the screenshot).

Undo 'Close Tab' action in Safari

There are quite a few hints here referring to Safari's capacity to undo actions such as bookmarks or downloads deleting. I just noticed you could also undo closing a tab. So if you hit Command-W too vigorously, just hit Command-Z (or Undo in the Edit menu), and your tab gets reloaded.A few observations: This doesn't work if you just hit Command-Option-W (that is, close all tabs in the current window save the frontmost one). It doesn't log tab creation either. If you happened to type something in a form after having closed a tab, what you typed is (understandably) added to the undo queue (you have to undo it to get your tab back). And one last thing: the page is reloaded when the tab is re-created, Safari doesn't fetch it from the back / forward cach -- which mean you might lose form values.
